Locust Point or Fells Point? Choose the yoga visit that fits your day
A south-and-east harbor comparison of group classes at BambooMoves and private yoga at Sanctuary Body.

Similar names, different trips
Locust Point and Fells Point sound close on a list, but choosing between them is a real travel decision. Treat the class location as part of the commitment. Check the full journey from where you will actually be that day, rather than choosing a venue solely because it looks nearby on a map.
Two places worth comparing are BambooMoves on East Fort Avenue and Sanctuary Body on South Ann Street. They offer different starting formats, so this is also a choice about how you want to learn.
BambooMoves: explore group formats
BambooMoves lists group yoga, workshops, and private sessions, with yoga and live music among its offerings. It is a useful starting point for someone who wants to browse several formats through one studio. Use the current schedule to choose a session, rather than assuming all classes follow the same pace.
Before booking, decide what you need from a first visit: clear instruction, a slower tempo, or a more active session. Send the studio that description and ask which class matches it. A class name by itself may not tell you enough.
Sanctuary Body: compare a private session
Sanctuary Body lists private yoga within its wider fitness and wellness practice in a converted Fells Point church. Consider that format if you want time for individual questions or prefer starting outside a group. The directory lists it as private instruction for that reason.
Ask how a first appointment works, what to bring, and how subsequent sessions are arranged. Confirm the second-floor access details if stairs affect your choice. Do not compare a private appointment’s price with a group drop-in without considering the difference in teaching format.
Make the choice practical
For either venue, confirm the entrance, registration terms, and cancellation window before paying. Plan any meal or other stop around the actual class finish time; your first visit is easier when the rest of the day has room in it.
Afterward, judge the experience on instruction, comfort, and repeatability. You can enjoy an occasional destination class while keeping your regular practice much closer to home.
